Shareholder Jim Vaughan recently completed his 4th Solar Bear Ride, an annual three-day, 270-mile, bicycle trek from Winston-Salem to Oak Island, to raise money for – and awareness of – Cancer Services of Winston-Salem. This year’s ride, held September 22 – 24, raised $17,600.00, a new record! Over the course of 3 years, more than $45,000 has been raised.
